Socially distant but still here for you!

And speaking of social distancing, we celebrated my parent's 54th wedding anniversary over the weekend. It was different for sure, but still special and a memory we won't soon forget. My sisters and I, with our families, paraded and toasted my parents (6-8 ft apart!)

Finally I wanted to share our Easter activity (fun for any day of the year.) I was looking for something to get my family outside and do something fun together. 

I found a Cemetery Scavenger Hunt that looked interesting so I printed it out, grabbed a clipboard and told my kids the exciting plan. They were thrilled (hoping you can sense the sarcasm here ;) )

We actually really loved it. I have always enjoyed visiting old cemeteries, and reading the gravestones. So the five of us walked to our neighborhood cemetery and worked on our checklist. There was minimal complaining too, and I dare say some might have truly liked it. Not bad!

Added bonus- we walked over three miles and didn't even realize it!

Of course I had to create my own version, and make it cuter. I am sharing it here for you guys. If you use it will you take a picture and send it to me?  I would love to share it on Instagram!
