Spring Cleaning Checklist

One of the first things I get the urge to do when the weather starts to warm up is to get a dumpster and get rid of everything in my house. Just kidding, well, sort of ;)

What I meant to say is I can't wait to get started on my Spring Cleaning Checklist. I love the feel of a clean home, having the windows opened up and giving everything a good thorough cleanout. It’s such a liberating feeling to have everything fresh and “new” again.

However, the daunting task is actually doing all the chores required. So where do you even start?

I've found that having a printable Spring Cleaning Checklist, assigning tasks to everyone who lives in the house, and checking things off as we finish them- helps us keep track of what we have and have not cleaned yet. It also helps keep us focused so that we can make the most of our time when cleaning.

Spring is the time we finally tackle those areas that get neglected all winter-like wiping down the doors and trim, airing out the pillows and blankets, and decluttering drawers and closets.

I am definitely NOT someone who enjoys cleaning and decluttering (and my kids REALLY don't love it,) but I really enjoy having things cleaned and decluttered. So it's a job that needs to be done.

What I DO love is a good list.

So I created this cheerful little checklist to help motivate along the way. Just download and print- and visualize yourself smiling and relaxing in your newly cleaned home. Just download and print!

Good luck, friends. You've go this.
