It's hard to believe we are already into the end of 2021. This is our third Shop for a Cause initiative and it has been a wonderful way to bring awareness to amazing causes and give back to some of my favorite non-profits that are really making a difference in the world. This initiative will go through the end of December!
Drumroll, please... our Shop for a Cause through December is the Animal Welfare Society of Kennebunk, Maine.
For the months of October - December, I am teaming up with the Animal Welfare Society (AWS).
This animal shelter and adoption center has a very special place in my heart. My husband and I adopted our first dog from them in 2004, Satchel the Wonder Dog. He was the most amazing dog in the world (I know, we all say that. But he actually was.) We have since adopted two more dogs, Zuzu (now age 16) and Barley (age 3) from AWS, and we absolutely adore them as well.

Over the years I have volunteered at AWS and have been able to see the inner workings of this special place. It’s quite the operation. The shelter offers community programs that give pets of domestic violence victims a safe place to live when their owners enter a women’s shelter, youth programs (my sons have attended their summer camp), behavior classes, a spay/neuter clinic, plus an animal control facility providing safety to lost and abandoned pets.
This month I have designed another special T-shirt of the month. Show your love of rescue animals with my "Adopt Foster Donate Rescue" t-shirt. It comes in adult unisex and youth sizes, too.
25% of sales will go directly to the Animal Welfare Society of Kennebunk, Maine. But hurry! This shirt is only available until the end of the year!
