Do you ever worry about the message it sends when you spoil your children with an abundance of Christmas gifts?? š
I know I do, and I am determined to try not to raise greedy or ungrateful kiddos.
This year, we are following the four gift rule for Christmas š
š¼ Itās a simple way to teach your children that they canāt have everything they want. Simply limit the gifts you buy them to these four categories:
1. Something they want
2. Something they need
3. Something to wear
4. Something to read
And maybe one gift from Santa (ok thatās five gifts š)
Be sure to discuss the gift categories well in advance so your kids are prepared. If your child likes to make a wish list for you, ask that they write down āoptionsā that fit into these categories. Keep one or two of the gifts a surprise however, thatās the best part!
I have created gift tags to make things easier for you this holiday.Ā I am offering these as a free gift from me to you.Ā Check out our gift tags by clicking here.Ā This is a digital file purchase.Ā Once you checkout you will receive a download of the gift tags.Ā You can then printĀ on your home printer as many times as you would like.Ā Ā
I truly hope that this helps make your holidays more impactful for you and your family.
